How do I add my first expense?
Tap Add expense from the sidebar or bottom bar. Snap or upload a receipt and SpendBeaver reads the merchant, date, and total so you can confirm and save.
How do receipts get in automatically?
Forward or text receipts in, or snap a photo — receipts land in the Inbox. Match them to transactions or file them as expenses.
How does safe-to-spend work?
Safe-to-Spend takes your category budgets, subtracts what you've already spent and upcoming Radar bills before payday (plus any card earmark), then divides by days left in the pay cycle. Cash runway is separate: it uses your real linked account balances to warn if bills could overdraft you.
Can I connect my bank or card?
Yes. Cards & Connections links accounts through Plaid (read-only) so transactions and receipts stay in sync without sharing login credentials with SpendBeaver.
What can I export for taxes or my bookkeeper?
From Reports & Export, download CSV exports of expenses, receipts, and mileage whenever you need them for taxes or your accountant.
Do teammates need their own seats?
Business plans are per seat. Each teammate gets their own login and access type so approvals, receipts, and budgets stay clear.
